Diana Thompson, e-IC Business Director, and Richard Przeplata, Senior Consultant, were delighted to demonstrate what the Centre has to offer to Charles Rowell, Kimberly Weir and Erika Magder from ROI, who were accompanied by International Investment Managers Mark Shaw and Richard England from AWM.

As well as a tour of the innovative business accommodation and facilities at the e-IC, the visitors saw demonstrations of two of the latest ICT technologies currently being showcased at the Centre.  The "intelligent poster" allows specific, requested information to be downloaded when a mobile phone ‘touches' the poster hotspot; the "smart card" entry system uses Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) to identify and track the entry and movement of individuals within a building.

The ROI executives commented: "As the new representatives of Advantage West Midlands in North America, we have enjoyed our tour of the West Midlands' many advantageous assets and resources.   We enjoyed a warm welcome at the impressive e-Innovation Centre on the University of Wolverhampton's Telford Campus.  The building is remarkably modern and inviting.  We are confident that the integrated offering of a variety of accommodation arrangements and the Centre's ongoing support for its tenants through networking events and technology demonstrations make an ideal setting for North American firms seeking a first location in the West Midlands region".
